If you need a specific region you just use a VPN. Netflix, Amazon, HBOMax, HBONow, HBOEurope, hulu, Disney+, Paramount+, U-next, AppleTV+, Abema, ESPN, Funimation, RakutenTV, Discovery+, Fod, Paravi, Joyn, TVNow, Vip-something?, Crunchyroll, DMM, peacock, tubi, dTV. I can only speak for myself, but I moved on and found something more valuable and functional.But we did have some lovely years when everything were promising and damn great at least, didn't we, PlayOn? <3 I'm not hating, harsh and a bit salty maybe, but yeah.

Hence why I don't think the idea to back-stab those old farts like me who bought the lifetime.I don't have any experience with AnyStream but I recon the tale would be similar.I understand that PlayOn isn't a huge company, and probably need to be "clever" to get some income but I think they stepped in the wrong direction with how they dealt with it as they are now charging equal or more than software that they "compete" with and have technically been caught lying repeatedly.- If they can't deliver equal or more in their software than their competitors and doesn't have a good relation to their customers because of poor communication and bullshittery. So if you actually do record allot monthly with PlayOn, and would keep on subscribing from a pure time and value -standpoint, you would be wasting allot of money in the long run. It downloads videos directly, saving you allot of time, giving you the best possible quality and it has allot more features and support to it than PlayOn.

You can also subscribe monthly to the all in one-thing they have DVDFab 360 I think it's named, it's offered in the all in one-software as well if you just need it a few months a time but in total, after 5-ish months you have payed the same as the one-time license.So after a year you'd pay over double the one time price.To put it this way if you buy the all in one license for Stremfab which is rather costly.It still is cheaper than one year subscription to PlayOn. I see people say it is too expensive, yet think that a subscription to PlayOn is not.
